Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, Momela processes your account email, profile and pregnancy information, nausea and symptom entries, food and sleep logs, activities, journal notes, uploaded photos and support messages. Your entries may contain sensitive health information.

Why we use it

We use account information to authenticate you, entries to provide tracking and personal history, and purchase information to manage Premium access and refunds. We also use necessary technical information to maintain and secure the service.

Device storage and cloud sync

Momela stores app settings, session information and journal data in your browser. When you use an account, the app synchronises supported entries and photos with Supabase, our authentication, database and file-storage provider. Clearing browser data alone does not necessarily delete cloud copies.

Service providers

Supabase processes account and stored app data. Our hosting provider, Netlify, handles web requests and necessary technical logs. The payment provider identified at checkout processes payment details; Momela uses relevant purchase information for access and support. Your journal entries and photos are not needed for payment processing.

Providers may process data in countries outside your own. Their infrastructure and applicable privacy terms govern their processing alongside our instructions.

Analytics and browser storage

This version does not load Google Analytics or advertising trackers. Necessary browser storage remains in use for sign-in, app settings, your entries and synchronisation.

Retention and deletion

Account data and synced entries are retained while your account is in use, unless you request deletion. Email us to request account deletion, correction or a copy of your data. We may verify your identity. Some transaction or support records may need to be retained for legal obligations or resolving disputes; provider backups may expire on their own retention schedules.

Your choices

You can choose which optional details and photos to enter. Avoid uploading information about other people without permission. Contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights or raise a concern. Where applicable, you can complain to your data protection authority.
